What an Incredible Week! | 2026 Texas Dogwood Casita Friends Rally Recap

What a rally! We are still buzzing from the memories made at the 2026 Texas Dogwood Casita Friends Rally. Welcoming 69 wonderful attendees made this one of our best gatherings yet, filled with laughter, incredible music, and that special community spirit we all cherish.

A Look Back at Our Week

Tuesday: We hit the ground running with early registration, Quarter Bingo, and a sweet finish at our Ice Cream Social.

Wednesday: A busy day filled with devotionals, our group drone photo, the Trade/Swap/Sell event, a touching Veterans Appreciation, Cowboy Poetry with Frank Knight, and a fantastic Open Mic night.

Thursday: After lunch at The Moosehead Cafe, we shared endless laughs during Granny Pants. The hall looked amazing thanks to Jammie’s Margarita themed décor, setting the perfect stage for Karaoke with Mike & Patsy—you all sounded great.

Friday: We enjoyed White Elephant Bingo with Rod and RJ, followed by a delicious potluck supper and a movie night that truly felt like a professional theater, thanks again to Jammie’s creative touch.

Saturday: The grand finale! While Larry hosted an informative RV Technical Class and Q&A, Jammie transformed the hall into an absolute masterpiece for our Beach Bash—complete with moving sharks and a full beach setup. We wrapped up the night with the incredible sounds of the Enhanced Biscuit and Gravy Band, followed by our silent auction and raffle winners, and the crowning of our 2026 King and Queen, John and Wendy Register.

A Special Thank You: A massive thank you to our hardworking volunteers, our talented band and their supportive wives, and everyone who attended. A special shout-out to Patsy for her tireless work selling raffle tickets day in and day out—you are a rockstar!
